Minto
The Township of Minto, now the Town of Minto, situated at the North end of Wellington County, is home to a thriving agricultural industry. Minto township is home to the towns of Palmerston and Harriston as well as the Village of Clifford. Minto Township has a storied history which was captured in the 1988 book, Families, Facts & Fables, Minto Memories. The book outlines the growth of Minto families from its founders the Harrison brothers to the families who lived on Minto's many farms in 1988.
