Almost everyone has thought of opening their own business, being their own boss, making their mark in the world, but maybe don't know
where to start. The Saugeen Business Resource Centre, a one-stop shop for all your business questions, is here to help.
At the Resource Centre, we understand that operating your own business can be exciting and lonely at the same time, especially when
there is no one around to turn to when you have questions. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our free,
confidential services that would be beneficial to you. Whether you are just starting out or have been in business for a while,
we can help.
We are part of a network of Business Service Centres that have been established across Ontario. A wide range of self-help books
and how-to manuals offer guidance, while our Business Information System details over 1,500 government programs, services,
regulations and contacts that may be able to provide some type of assistance to your company. If you are considering entering
a new market, we have a national database of manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, and an on-line database of current
articles found in today's media.
As well, we have an Internet-based workstation for business name registration, vendor permit registration and employer health
tax registration, as well as registration renewals. If you have business research you need to conduct on the Internet, but no
access to the worldwide web, drop into the resource centre and browse on our Community Access Program computer.
This is simply what we offer on an ongoing basis, but if you have any questions or require further information, we will do our
